I run experiences throughout the year. There are two options, a day of cooking at my house, with a visit to my local market to shop for ingredients first, or a day of eating/tasting/sight-seeing in the capital city of Cagliari. See below for more information.

We had booked a cooking experience with Letitia in August ‘24 and were utterly blown away with the time and care she had put into every aspect of the day. We were really only expecting a couple of hours of a market tour and cooking, and instead got an entire day of Letitia’s knowledge, tips and outstanding cooking. It was far beyond what we were expecting and was a brilliant experience. Letitia and her family are total dreams and we’re so grateful that she gave us such a memorable, gorgeous day.

capturing the castle

It would be an understatement to say that “Capturing the Castle” was one of the most memorable experiences of my trip that summer, and not just because of the amazing culinary journey that we traveled together over the next 4+ hours.  What made the experience so special was meeting Letitia Ann and her partner Lorenzo, who as an added bonus, joined us on our explorations that day.  Hours later, when we parted after our last spoonful of gelato, I felt as though I’d known them both “forever” and had made new friends for life.

It was Letitia’s Wild Figs & Fennel that finally got us to Sardinia and the day we spent cooking and eating with her was an absolute joy.  Her home is very special and she taught us how to make Sardinian pasta specialities in the traditional way.  Then we sat around her dining table and enjoyed the pasta with other local treats that included delicious wine from the family vineyard. It really was the highlight of our trip.

We visited Letitia on her glorious island in late autumn. Having fallen hopelessly in love with her books and all that they teach, inspire and most importantly evoke, spending time with Letitia was like all of these things times a hundred - she is not only an exceptional host who makes you feel as though you had known her for years, but is somehow so much more instructive, inspiring and evocative of the culture, the food and the life in the slow, methodical and appreciative lane that is Sardinia…we returned to the UK bursting with ideas of how we can dial our lives into this historic and wholesome way of life

Letitia is fab, funny, highly entertaining, and the perfect lunch date! Her mastery of Sardinian cookery is rivalled only by her gift for imparting its secrets and flavours with effortless grace, each lesson a cacophony of passion, imprecision, loyalty and centuries’ old tradition. With every flick of her wrist and words of reassurance, she transforms novices into artists, now fluent in the language of fresh basil, sheep’s cheese, hand-rolled pasta and a bit of her new-found Sardinian soul!
